SPANISH BIO:

Atrophy nace en Guatemala a finales del 2007, Boris y "El Libro" (influenciados por bandas legendarias como Nausea, Phobia, Terrorizer, Majesty, Insect Warfare entre otras), deciden revivir el grindcore guatemalteco y tras meses de busqueda la banda completo el sonido estridente con el que se caracteriza, agregando a los ex-Mutilation: Bernabe y Constrictor.

En mayo del 2008 la banda lanza el Split/Demo/Rehearsal con Eterno Impeler, del cual se desprenden las cuatro canciones grabadas en ensayo llamadas:

- Ages of Terror
- Constitutional Rights
- Vomit A.R (Against Repression)
- Extermination

Con la grabacion del Split/Demo/Rehearsal Atrophy se cataloga como una de las pocas bandas de grindcore que han existido en Guatemala.

Atrophy was born in Guatemala in late 2007, Boris and "The Book" (influenced by legendary bands such as Nausea, Phobia, Terrorizer, Majesty, Insect Warfare among others), they decide to revive the Guatemalan grindcore and after months of searching, the band complete the shrill sound that is characterized, by adding the ex-Mutilation's: Bernabe and Constrictor.

In May 2008, the band launches the Split/Demo/Rehearsal with Eterno Impeler, from which we get the four songs call:

- Ages of Terror
- Constitutional Rights
- Vomiting A.R (Against Repression)
- Extermination
